I’ve taken advantage of Bluehost’s free SSL certificate for WordPress sites on shared hosts. To me, the transition looks seamless. Please let me know on twitter or in the comments if anything isn’t working. Thanks!

I just changed the LaTeX renderer plugin on the blog from MathJax-LaTeX to WP QuickLaTeX, as the former stopped working and not only does the latter work, but it allows the {align} environment. If you notice any malformed math or missing text, please drop me a note. ∞

I’ve re-written the previous post a bit and now it is posted in the Rcpp gallery. I’ve had some really good comments, so I’ll probably have to post an updated version. Keep the comments coming! ∞

I have been playing with various wordpress themes and CSS settings, trying to find a clean look that allows the header image to look good, the text—including MathJax and LaTeX to look good, knitr/R/code to be properly aligned, and not be an overall eyesore. Site favicon

I spent a while today working on a favicon for the blog. I decided to use the Lorenz attractor image in the previous post, as that exhibited the most contrast and looked best at 16×16 and 32×32. Let me know how you think it looks!
